A Smart Water Heater
The Sunsmart water heater from Inventum Technologies is equipped with intelligent software that ensures you make the most of your surplus solar energy or dynamic energy rates. It begins heating when there’s a surplus of just 150 watts, allowing you to efficiently use your excess energy. Available in several sizes—50 liters, 80 liters, 120 liters, and 150 liters—this water heater is suitable for a variety of households. Larger models, which can be combined with MyEnergi, are also on the way!
The Smart Software: MyEnergi
MyEnergi’s Eddi allows you to store excess solar energy as heat. When your water heater isn’t up to temperature and a surplus of solar energy is detected, the Eddi is automatically activated. You can easily monitor and control everything via the MyEnergi app, including other devices such as your charging station. Please note, however, that a smart meter is required to use this system.
