For an average family, feed-in costs can amount to approximately €15 to €20 per month. However, there’s a solution! OptimaSolar offers its customers an energy contract without feed-in costs: the Dynamic Energy Contract.

A dynamic energy contract calculates energy prices on an hourly basis and gas prices daily. These prices can fluctuate, being either positive or negative, depending on supply and demand on the European power exchange. Negative power tariffs are particularly common on very sunny days. To qualify for a dynamic energy contract, you must have a smart meter from the grid operator.

With a dynamic energy contract, net-metering occurs on an hourly basis at the prevailing tariff. This means the power supplied by your solar installation is settled at the same rate as the energy you would pay for when consuming it. Since energy companies don’t need to purchase as much power in the long term, they take on less risk, resulting in a lower tariff for you! Please note that OptimaSolar is not an energy supplier; you will enter into a contract with Frank Energie or Next Energy.
