Enphase has now launched its own charging station in the Netherlands: the Enphase IQ EV Charger 2. This smart charging solution is fully integrated with the existing Enphase home system, allowing you to manage everything easily from one central app. What makes it even more exciting is that the charger is future ready with support for bidirectional charging.

The Enphase charger is ideal for anyone looking to make the most of their self-generated solar energy. Thanks to the smart solar charging function, the system knows exactly when there is a surplus. Charging begins as soon as 1.38 kilowatts of excess power is available, enabling you to charge your electric vehicle in a sustainable and cost-effective way.

Charging options: solar surplus, scheduled, or smart

With the Enphase app, you can charge your electric car in several ways. You can choose to charge only using surplus solar energy, set fixed schedules for specific times, or use smart charging. Smart charging takes dynamic electricity tariffs into account, so you always charge your car at the best time, both economically and environmentally.

Safe charging with load balancing

Electric vehicles demand a significant amount of power. With dynamic load balancing through the Enphase CT coils in your meter cabinet, the system knows exactly how much electricity is being used in your home. This prevents power overloads when other appliances are in use, ensuring safe and reliable charging.

Important: An Envoy S-Metered device and CT coils are required to use this charger.

Everything in one app: Enlighten

The clear and user friendly Enphase app gives you instant insight into your entire energy system. You can see exactly how much solar energy you are generating, how much electricity you are consuming, how much you are sending to or importing from the grid, and how much electricity is going to your car. If you also connect an Enphase battery or a compatible heat pump, you will have a complete energy management system (IQ Router Plus) that helps you stay in full control of your energy use.

Future proof Enphase charging station

The Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 comes with a five year warranty and is compatible with both single phase and three phase connections.
