Even more brands are now compatible with device control via the Currentt Navigator. These additions further expand the local energy management system, enabling homes and business premises in the Netherlands to use self-generated energy more intelligently and to manage energy consumption even more efficiently.

Currentt Navigator and solar panels

The first inverter brands already compatible with the Currentt Navigator were SolarEdge, Enphase, SMA, Huawei and Growatt. This compatibility has now been expanded to include Fronius, SolaX and SunSpec-compliant inverters.
As a result, even more solar panel systems can be integrated into the local energy management system and optimally aligned with the energy consumption of your home or business premises.

Home batteries compatible with the Currentt Navigator

Initially, the compatible home battery brands included Huawei, Enphase, SolarEdge, Growatt and Sessy. This selection has now been extended with the WHES home battery.
This allows the Currentt Navigator to intelligently determine when the battery should charge or discharge, based on surplus solar production or dynamic energy tariffs.

Heat pumps and charging stations: coming soon

Compatible brands for EV charging stations will be announced shortly. Once available, charging sessions can be intelligently adjusted to available power and on-site solar generation.

For heat pumps, the Currentt Navigator already supports systems equipped with an SG-Ready contact. These heat pumps can receive SG-Ready signals, allowing them to switch on or off at smart moments for more efficient energy use.

Energy meters and the Currentt Navigator

The energy meters and models that the Currentt Navigator can read include: CT clamps, ABB (B21, B23, B24), Eastron (SDM630), YTL (DTS353, DDS353H-2), Carlo Gavazzi (EM340), Hager (ECR380D), Phoenix Contact (EM357) and Taiyedq (TAC1100).
This provides detailed insight into the energy consumption of individual electrical devices.

In addition, the Currentt Navigator also supports 230V AC magnetic contactors. This enables certain devices to be switched on or off automatically based on available power or predefined rules, creating additional opportunities to optimize energy consumption and run appliances only when it is most efficient.
