Solar panels in 2026 will bring several changes that owners need to consider. New rules, technologies, and smart meters make it important to be well prepared and to make the most of your solar energy. Energy…

SolarEdge takes smart charging to the next level. Homeowners with a SolarEdge system have something new to look forward to. In November 2025, the brand will launch two updated SolarEdge charging stations with a sleek design and smart features that work seamlessly with your solar panels. In this blog, you can read all about what this new charging station can do.
The great thing about the new SolarEdge charging stations is that they grow with your household. Do you currently have a single-phase main connection but want to upgrade to three-phase later? No problem. The charging stations support both single and three-phase connections and can charge up to 22 kW, so you’re ready for the future of smart and efficient home charging. All you need is a SolarEdge inverter and a SolarEdge Inline Meter.
The SolarEdge charging stations have a sleek and compact design, with a square casing and no fixed cable. Thanks to their IP54 protection rating, they are weather-resistant and fit neatly on the wall of any household with solar panels.
SolarEdge introduces two versions of the new charging stations: the ONE EV Charger (standard) and the ONE EV Charger Pro. The main differences are in the communication options, the bidirectional charging option available from 2026, and the display on the Pro. This makes the Pro the smarter choice for anyone who wants to fully integrate their electric car into the SolarEdge solar energy system.
The charging stations come with smart features for efficient home charging. You can lock the cable so it cannot be removed by others, and you can charge your car with surplus solar power. It is also possible to exclude the use of energy from your SolarEdge home battery.
For maximum efficiency, you can choose between simple or smart charging schedules that take energy rates, departure time, and desired energy into account. Load balancing is applied automatically via the SolarEdge Inline Meter in the meter cupboard, so you never exceed your available power. An RFID card is included, allowing each user to register a charging session. The charging stations also come with a three-year product warranty, ensuring quality and reliability.
